THREE BLACK OPALS gold openwork brooch of sculptural Flowers and two Ribbon Bows
Opals : Center is triangular 10 x 5 mm, with harlequin red & orange flash, two are pear shape, avg 8.75 x 5.25 mm each; all are bi-convex, 2.5mm deep, fine polish front and back,; all measurements approximate, each approximately ½ carat, total 1-1/4 to 1-1/2 carats
Circa : 1905 - 1915
Length of Brooch : 1-1/2” x height 5/8” (40 x 20 mm)
Green Gold, 14 or 18k; ; Gross Weight : .269 troy oz;
Superb finishing and construction, including original hand- made safety latch and hinge in fine original crisp and secure condition
