between five raised bands, gold decorations on calf edges. Marbled end-papers and marbling on all page edges.

Condition : Text blocks tight and clean (small tear at lower margin of volume I title page, ink inscription of owner’s name crossed out and replaced with "Adrian" on front paper of each volume. Calf binding has modest wear commensurate with age. Overall handsome and sound condition.
