Jadeite Jade, 8.83 carats,
translucent, medium green, bi-convex oval cabochon cut, 14 x 11.85 mm x 6.18 mm deep

set in 2.5mm platinum collet above canted gallery of 'garland' openwork;

The ring : stone in its collet measures 1/2" along the finger x 3/8+" across, above the diamonds floating in 'knife-edge' split-shoulders; shank tapers at bottom of the ribbed hoop, to approx 1mm x .08 mm wide

Diamonds : 10, early proportion old mine single, double & table cut, avg 1 mm, total approx .10ct, incompletely measureable in platinum tube collets

Finger size : 7-3/4
