Six panels bowl, 2-3/4" diameter, engraved in Hebrew 
"yom ha’shabbos kiddish" ("kiddush for Shabbat)", 
 
repoussé decorated with grapes & vinage above rococo "c" curves alternating paired flowers; 
 
The stem is paneled and turned; the domed foot is repoussé with a variant of the bowl pattern 
 
Quality and Maker marks : on foot-rim, Crescent and Crown / 800" mark for 800/1000 silver standard, Germany, 1888 - circa 1900; 
Maker mark is untraced, possibly a bird alighting 
 
Weight : 4.2 troy oz.
