Georgian Regency Diamond earrings, circa 1790's
Georgian 36-Diamonds two part hinged earrings, silver-topped gold, circa 1790 - 1810.
Hard-to-find wearable size, total length 1-3/8". Around 1790, diminutive earrings came into style, but survivals are rarely seen today.
Diamonds : Total 36 diamonds, 14 in each drop, each below a quatrefoil 4-diamond top.
Center diamond in one drop is table cut; the rest are rose-lasque cut.
Weight of diamonds is not calculated, as usual and expected in case of antique rose cuts and lasque cuts.

Period : circa 1790-1810, George III - Regency.
Size : total length 1-3/8" / 2 cm (to top of arched wire).

Ear wires : back-to-front , gold, hand-made hinge type, latching into a half bead at top.
Metals : silver cut corner pinched bezel collets above sheet gold back.
