the work of the old traditional Jewish Yemeni silversmiths, the last of whom was gone by the 1940's, ending the centuries-old tradition.

The Walters Gallery dates a very similar example to the 19th century

Metal filed and tested with acid : .900 silver range

Weight : 3.69 troy ounces

Condition : Good, with safety chain and pin-in-tube lock
