Richard Jackson (1724-95) Oxford, England, Lord of the Manor of Heddington, founder of Oxford’s first newspaper,
This ring was made specially for Miss Mary Jones, (1741-1815). Mary, youngest daughter of a fishmonger, was employed by Jackson as a young domestic.
