Diamonds : early modern round brilliant full cut, 4, average 2.2mm (.04 carat), total .16 carats

Each diamond is closed-set in mil-grain bordered platinum collet surrounded by mother pearl disk within platinum 'piecrust' border, above a convex gold back

“D.R.G.M.” (“Deutches Reichsgebrauchsmuster”, sometimes called “kleines Reichspatent” [“small imperial patent”]. By German law from 1891-1949, a craftsman or manufacturer was entitled to limited patent rights for an innovative design by marking his creation “D.R.G.M”, without the formal (and costly) full patent office registration.
