PAINTED MINIATURE Portrait Locket Pendant, with crescent of Natural Turquoise Cabochons.

A very diminutive jewel, overall diameter 3/4" 

Circa : 1840's

Front : Painted Miniature on ivory, a pretty lady, signed indistinctly "A.C" or "A.S". lower right. Glazed locket on back opens on a hinge.

Turquoise : 21 cabochons, graduated sizes, each set in a tube collet with mil-grain decorated border.

Length : 1-1/8" from original gold ring bale
