BELLARMINE SEEGANNA (1953-2002) : Uguivangmiut Inupiak artist-carver , from Ugiuvan Island ('winter home" ) renamed 'King Island' by Captain Cook in the 1700's. His work appears in the Museum of the American Indian among other public collections.
Provenance : Alaska native Arts and Crafts, 425 D Street, anchorage, Alaska
Length : carving 1-3/4" x 3/4", with black hand-painted accents to beak and eye, purchased pin back attached
