delux printing on laid paper, 302 pages,

4 good black and white illustrations include two portraits after original works in the National Gallery and two 1810 prints

Text and illustrations in exceptionally clean (near unread) condition, 'prefaratory note' / 'contents' page in original uncut condition, as are various other following pages.
