JEWELRY CHEST, Hong Kong, traditional miniature furniture style,
mid-century circa 1950's. unusually fine complete condition

Natural Woods, dovetailed and paneled construction, on four bracket feet;
Six Carved Stone Panels, extensive engraved and pierced brass ornaments and pulls, good original lock and key

Paired doors (with lock and key) open to three interior drawers (top drawer with ring slots beside lined compartment)

Lower drawer has 'batwing' brass pull, lift-out tray above inner compartment.

Interior : Black lacquered wood, fully lined throughout with dark blue and gold brocade

Generous size : 10" x 6.75" x 4.75"

Provenance : inherited through a family of international diplomats, acquired 1950's in Hong Kong
