Rose-cut round and pear-shape garnets, each hand-set in multiple prongs; the star is composed in two levels, joined with typical pinned construction

Metal : traditional heavy gold layered “tombac” (“tombak”) alloy, with good patina, some darkening on back commensurate with age

Original 'c' latch & long tube hinge in fine original condition; original long 19th century pin in fine condition.
