Pearls : Diameters graduated : 6.1 to 2.6 mm; high satin to near mirror luster; fine natural round some with slight 'barrel' round typical of natural saltwater pearls; 215 total (214 strung, one presently unstrung)

Length : 18”, knotted on pearl silk (plus 1 pearl unstrung)

Circa : the platinum & 18k clasp and its attachments are Edwardian, circa 1910-25, the pearls of that era or poossibly earlier, as expected with natural pearls

Clasp : platinum and 18k gold of warm tone, hand-fabricated, size 14 x 7.1 x 4.5mm deep; the platinum top is miligrain bordered around the gems throughout; the gold structure, ornamented in pierced gallery illusion, closes with a hand-made tongue and has a hinged safety beneath;

Matching the clasp are paired "flower bud" elements linking clasp to the two strands; each element approximately 4.2 x 4.2mm x 2mm deep, each bead set with on diamond

Diamonds Total approx 1/2 carat, fine clarity & color throughout
