The Carving : VIRGIN & CHILD (recto) & "ORA PRO NOBIS" ("Pray for Us", with 3 crosses, verso) encased between behind double convex glass, carved in an unidentified material.

Emerald : cabochon-cut, round, 10 mm, depth unmeasureable due to closed-back setting, estimated 3 to 3.5 carats total
Note: gem identity incompletely gradable or testable as mounted

Pearl : 11mm x 9mm, freshwater cultured of 'threaded bead' shaped, full-drilled and gold wire mounted; the pearl was added later by the collector

Overall length of the pendant : 2-7/8"
Gross wt : .600 troy oz, including gems, double-glass & contents (gold weight alone estimated .200 troy ounce)
