Circa : late 1800's to early 1900's

Provenance : according to the heir, property of her late godmother, whom the family, French and international diplomats, helped escape occupied France.
A parfumeur with Dior in Paris, she married a prominent American in Detroit, where this ornament graced the portico of their river-view rooftop garden.
