very early, hand-punched motives include 2 whirling logs, 4 arrow-heads, rows of dots, above triple knife edge tapering cuff
Circa : 1900 - 1930's
"Whirling Logs" : from the Navajo creation myth, used as a good luck sign; discontinued by the late 1930's.
Turquoise : old, natural and untreated, said to come from the King mine. The large center flat oval cabochon, 1" x 1/2", collet-set , closed back, on a rectangular plaque between two borders of round collet-set 5 mm turquoise;
as is natural with old untreated turquoise worn many years, varying shades of greenish blue to very greenish
Bracelet width : 1"; spread across wrist, 2-1/2"
Provenance : according to the heir, inherited from her mother's collection acquired on trips west 1930's - 1960's
