Heavy silvered brass or white metal, with logo imprint on reverse "THE JEWISH MUSEUM"
The heavy backplate pierced with a stylized city view above "Jerusalem"in Hebrew letters.
Eight small candle cups between two large servant / sabbath lights, based on an 18th century Polish form, for added use in celebrating Hanukkah on the Sabbath
Provenance : THE JEWISH MUSEUM (insignia); presented as a gift from the U.S. Holocaust Museum, Washington DC in gratitude for services of a translator-archivist
during the institution's founding years, circa 1980's.
