"T.B.Starr Inc." (signed on pinstem) In 1877 when his partner Marcus left to join Tiffany, Theodore B. Starr bought back control, using the name T.B. Starr, incorporating in 1907.
This piece is datable 1907-1918, the years of incorporation, after which the firm was sold, ceasing operation completely in 1923.

Diamonds : Total nineteen, approximate total 1/2 carat
All are of "old mine" proportions (15 full brilliant cut, the smallest 4 are vintage cuts of matching proportions; , all 19 total .50 carat
(center diamond, collet-set,3mm, .10ct; all others are bead-set),
diamonds are of fine clarity and color throughout

Pearls : total 40, each 2--2.5mm, full-drilled, strung in four series of ten,"abacus style", on platinum wire

Platinum, of high precision craftsmanship;the jeweled top on a bar-supported gallery, original fine round hinge and safety clasp
