Quality mark : “14 k solid gold” struck on the collar.

Two gold end caps and one gold collar :
Each end cap 2mm (7/8") diameter x 1/4"; the collar 14mm wide (1/2 to 5/8").
One cap is engraved with 3 or more letters in script cypher; the other gold endpiece is engraved with a single “gothick” (“Old English”) style letter

Overall Length : 34- 1/2”, terminating in original/period turned brass ferrul
