GREEN Glass "TAPER GIN" Bottle circa late 1700's

"TAPER GIN" (or "Case Gin")
Georgian period, continental Europe or Britain,
circa 1775 - early 1800's
10-1/4” height (1/2 gallon size)
Dark green 'forest glass'
with high shoulders, mouth blown into an dip mold; with four-arch square base, high kick,, rough pontil typical of early production; conical free-blown applied "pig snout" lip
