RETICULATED CANTON CHESTNUT BOWL ON ORIGINAL MATCHING STAND,

good large size, both with fine pierced borders;

circa 1810-1830

Reticulated bowl, length 9-3/4"x 8-1/2";

Reticulated under-tray, length 10-1/2 x 9-1/2".

Height : bowl in stand, approx 4-1/2" high

Chinese Export Porcelain for the American/English market, hand-painted under the glaze, with well painted center vignettes and traditional underglaze painted Canton borders.

Condition : Undertray perfect. Bowl appears perfect, but has some invisible to near-invisible professional repairs at rim and to a small bit of reticulation near base.

VERY RARE rare that a bowl like this and its ORIGINAL MATCHING UNDERTRAY have survived and traveled two centuries together !
